PM-40001 Phoenix Models L-39C Albatros Czech Jet Team

L-39C Serial Nr:131904 was one of 35 aircraft produced by Aero Vodochody for the Soviet Air Force in 1981. During its military career, the aircraft served to train Soviet Air Force pilots as well as Cosmonauts at Ukraine Cernigov Airbase. The aircraft was sold to a private owner after the break-up of the Soviet Union who took delivery in the Czech Republic in 2003. The aircraft was given the civilian registration "OK-JET" and underwent extensive refurbishment and demilitarization before returning to the air in 2004. Since that time, it has been a frequent performer at European air shows
